Swapmeet 2025
Always discussed but never realised….until this past September….Marston Green Model Flying Club held its first ever R/C Model Swapmeet…..and for a first event…was a huge success !!
All tables were sold and we ended up making use of the stage area of the village hall location, and the car park was so busy we were even double stacking cars !
Plenty of bargains were to be had…and lots of happy visitors were observed bartering for the best items !
Many thanks to Pete Knight for organising the event, Richard B for arranging the hall, the kitchen team ensuring all visitors were fed with an assortment of bacon and sausage baps, and kept well lubricated with tea and coffee, the helpers who set out the hall and to the traders for trusting us (on a national level) and turning up with plenty of goodies to sell.
