8:30am to 9:00am for Quiet Electric Flight

(Trial : Quiet props & heli’s – No EDF’s)

9:00am till 6:00pm for i.c engines

9:00am till Dusk for all electric aircraft

9:00am to 10:00am for Quiet Electric Flight

10:00am till Dusk for all electric aircraft

We welcome Fixed Wing Electric & I.C models, Electric & I.C Helicopters & Silent Flight models

Slots are used for rotary flying

Each model being noise tested to 80dB @ 7m from all directions where appropriate

Working Failsafe’s must be configured

Maximum of 4 of the same type of model in the air at any one time

Models must be restrained whilst in the pits

Mandatory checking in and out of the site with the Club Secretary is a condition of our planning permission

Each member should be familiar with the BMFA Article 16 Authorisation which covers model flying in the UK BMFA Article 16 Authorisation

A trial has recently been agreed to allow Solo flying subject to the flyer not being under training and passing some simple flying, and important safety tests.

A declaration form must be downloaded below, completed and sent to the Club Secretary with the proficiency test (if required).
